Gene Search
By choosing a gene symbol from the pull-down
menu or doing a text search for a part of a gene name, results are retrieved
in the format shown below. The user can click on an age of interest
to examine gene expression in brain at that time point or follow links
to other databases. The BAC and marker used to create the mice are
provided in the table. Brief background information such as gene
size or relevant literature is provided in the comment box.
If the user clicks on P7, a series of thumbnail
images displaying sections through the brain of a 7-day-old mouse expressing
the gene of interest appears, as is shown on the next page.
